Terry Richardson x Lady Gaga

What happens when two true mavericks join forces? A MIND-BLOWING work of art worthy of your coffee table. No, but really – Lady Gaga and Terry Richardson have collaborated on a photo book to be released by Grand Central Publishing on November 2. The publication, aptly named LADY GAGA, features over 350 colour and black and white photographs of the iconic pop star. Renowned photographer Richardson was given an exclusive all-access pass to Gaga for ten months, with the stalking (just kidding) officially kicking off at Lollapalooza in August last year and concluding in February at the final shows of Gaga’s Monster Ball tour. The 100 000 captured moments document both her personal and professional life, both raw and intimate, a so-called ‘visual dialogue’ between the two artists.

According to Grand Central Publishing, “This remarkable collaboration between Lady Gaga and Terry Richardson… will be one of the most stunning, provocative and coveted books of the 2011 holiday season.” (via Propagaga)

It isn’t the first time that that Lady Gaga and Terry Richardson have collaborated. Neither strangers to controversy, their joint project is bound to send sparks flying. While you’re on your toes, why not take a look at their more memorable collaborations:
